      This maens your knock sensor (most likely) has gone bad, or the wiring to the knock sensor (less likely) has come unplugged, or shorted out. The knock sensor is a device which senses pre-ignition (spark knock) and tells the computer to adjust the engine timing to compensate. You may or may not notice a difference in the way the car runs, but it will decrease performance, fuel mileage, and increase wear on the motor.

      Ignore sensor 1, Bank 1 stuff. You have a 4 cylinder, there is only 1 sensor, 1 Bank. V-6′s and 8′s have 2 banks.

      Replace the sensor.
