There are One Answer for "99 Corolla, Diagnosis P0325, Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Malfunction Bank 1 Or 1 Sensor. What Does This Mean"

This maens your knock sensor (most likely) has gone bad, or the wiring to the knock sensor (less likely) has come unplugged, or shorted out. The knock sensor is a device which senses pre-ignition (spark knock) and tells the computer to adjust the engine timing to compensate. You may or may not notice a difference in the way the car runs, but it will decrease performance, fuel mileage, and increase wear on the motor.

Ignore sensor 1, Bank 1 stuff. You have a 4 cylinder, there is only 1 sensor, 1 Bank. V-6′s and 8′s have 2 banks.

    Replace the sensor.
