What Does A Axle Nut Do
I have a 2002 yamaha raptor 660 and it has a durablue axle the axle nut is gone what does a axle nut really do im going to replace
Not sure exactly what you are looking for here, but to remove the axle, loosen the tension on the bearing carrier. remove the axle/ wheel nuts, remove the rims/ tires with the axle spindle, then take of the rear brake caliper, the disc, the gear and all the other componets on the axle.then remove the inner axle nuts taht keep the bearings tight
and slide it out! (possibly a c- clip somewhere in the bearing carrier. check out http://www.bikebandit.com ^(http://www.carparts21.com/goto/http://www.bikebandit.com) and type in your machine and possibly you can find a microphish breakdown (blueprint) of your parts.
