Can Someone Explain To Me All The Aspects Of Aftermarket Rims So That I Can Order A Proper Fit

Posted in Axles & Driveshaft | Asked on Sep 2, 2010

I have a 2004 Honda Accord EX, and I’m looking for a new set of 19 inch rims. Unfortunately, I don’t know much about the following;

-Bolt pattern measurement.
-Center bore.
-The width size. (Ok I know this one, but what would be a proper width size for a regular sedan?)
-Offset.

I don’t want to order a set of rims off the internet and have it not fit properly.

Thank you! :)

    Join a honda forum and go to the wheels and tires section.. also check out some pics of other hondas on there with similar rims. there should be more than enough info on forums to answer any honda question that you may have.

    Bolt pattern and measurment is pretty much standard with diffferences being in muscle and trucks(i mean big ones)
    width is hard to say especially since i cant see the car but to be safe dont go over what you already have. i cant really help with bore and off set but most good sites or if you know a specific brand like kong rims they will have a drop down list of all the various cars and you can pick yours and it will display compatible rims
