Audi A6 Cold Air Intake Systems Installation

I have a 1995 Audi A6, I bought a cold intake system for it and opened the box and it came with a tube, some skrews, and two air filters one big and the other small. i got everything on except the small air filter, where would that go?

Normally its for a PVC hose that originally ran to the airbox. What’s the diameter of the filter connection?
