Below is the question about I Have A Ford Taurus 2002and I Fixed Everything Regarding AC But Still Not Coolingwhy,

Even if i put it to MAX AC still not cold just a cool air, which makes rear passengers not feeling a cold atmosphere.I live in costal city in temp. normally 40′ dgrees centigarde.

the case becomes worse when i try to accelrate more it just stop cooling for a while,i still haven’t change the ac compressor i hope it is the my last resort.

Have you even thought to have the refrigerant charge checked? If the compressor isn’t engaging the compressor, it may be low charge, or a bad compressor relay…you didn’t really give anyone something to work with here…

To diagnose this on this site would be next to impossible. I would need to know what the pressures on the high and low sides read. One thing I can tell you is, when you are under hard acceleration the A/C compressor is disengaged to allow as much power as possible to be transferred to the wheels.

If everything about the a/c is as you say????Could be the blend door not closing and allowing hot air to be mixed with cold air resulting in cool air.

If you didn’t vacuum the system properly before you filled it, it’s not going to get very cold. If the high and low pressure readings are both good when the compressor is running and the low pressure line isn’t getting very cold, the system probably has air and water vapor in it.
