How Much Is This 1993 Honda Prelude Si Worth

Below is the question about How Much Is This 1993 Honda Prelude Si Worth,

I was looking at this 1993 Honda Prelude Si. it has 240k miles and had a rebuilt motor put in it 80k miles ago. It has a cold air intake, new headers, new exhaust. Strut cross bar, newer headunit, short shifter. 4 wheel drilled and slotted rotors. It is a 5 speed. It has some scratches, chipped paint on bumper, needs new trunk seal, might need new clutch soon. Also needs new ac compressor. It comes with one though. I need to know what this car is worth before buying.

    Kelley Bluebook shows a value of $1400 in “fair” condition. Your description would put this car in poor/fair condition so it shouldn’t be worth more than $1000.

    Condition is everything.

    Sounds like a $800-1200 car off the top of my head.

    The rebuilt motor is no better than one that hasn’t been rebuilt. You cant prove it was done or the quality of the work if it was done. And why did it need a new motor at 160k ?

    Getting the AC working could be a $600+ job.
