Truck makes noise as it hits speed bumps, any bump in the road, etc.
Need leaf spring (1) Husband called chevy dealer today and they said it would be like over 500.00 just for the part…

is this info correct?
i have been looking online and i am finding them for 150.00 dollars, but i don’t know if that is the right thing…

if some one experienced in auto parts could please find me a site with prices listed, that would be great.
do you think they could of been giving him the price for more than one?

First of all that is around the correct price for a new leaf spring. but here is a much cheaper way out , check around your local area for salvage yards a lot of times you can find the part you need with minimal cost. the reason being is that a lot of salvage yards have vehicles that have been wrecked . if you find a truck that has been rolled over or hit in the front end the part you need will not be damaged and it will be cheaper than buying a new one and will be like new and your truck being a 95 parts should be abundant hope you luck.

Ashley I’m finding it hard to believe this truck needs rear springs. They are parts on the springs that over time get loose or wear out. They are clamps and insulator’s that can be replaced with out replacing the springs. You should call around some of your local shops and find out where this noise is coming from and what needs done to make it quite.Best of luck.
