Can you replace a rear differental housing and leaf springs in a F150 with those from a F250?

    If the springs are the same width, length, and same distance apart, then yes. Don’t forget to check to see if your u-joints are the same. Any particular reason you are wanting to do this?

    I know that from 67 to 72 you can with those years. then 73 to 79, then 80 to about 95 you can but some of these newer models may have speed sensors in the differential. you may also have helper springs on some 250′s but they also will work on the 150 if you remove the helper perches off the 250 and bolt them to the 150. The holes for the perches are already on the 150′s frame. the next problem will be the length of the driveshaft which can easily be fixed at a driveshaft shop and the u-joint may be different but napa has u joints that can mate the shaft and differential together. you just need to take both the 250 and 150 joint so they can meausure them
