Doing your own paint will be good but a full paint job by pro is better, it will cost alot of money but it worth it then doing it yourslef, belive me i know, fully body pain job is better then doing one spot, becase you will just mess it up and it be show out of the paint you put on yourslef.
Go for the perfomance. if the paint aint that bad dont worry about it. youll feel much better when someone pulls up next to you, says crappy looking car, and you end up seeing them on your rear view mirror with a oh s#it expression.
Save your money dude.coil springs is not a bad idea.you could also try to put more power into it.it’s not about the outside, but the inside.
