Lowering Springs, Coilovers, Or Full Coilovers…
Posted in Coil Spring | Asked on Sep 11, 2010I want to lower my car somewhere between an inch or two. I have a 98 dodge neon r/t with 18 inch rims on it. What is the major difference or what is better between lowering springs, coilovers & full coilovers? I was told that coil overs are better because I can always adjust the height of my car back to where it was incase I get pulled over for it being to low. I dont think I should have a problem with that since I’m not going that low. I was also told lowering springs are better cuz the car will be even all the way around and I wont have to worry about trying to even out the height on both sides of the car like u would with coil overs. If I do go with either of the 3, what all do I need (already know about camber kit) to lower my car?

You are not in any way going to be too low if you only drop it 1 or 2 inches..
