Is It The Shocks Or Coil Springs

Posted in Coil Spring | Asked on Jul 28, 2010

When driving on an uneven road or driving around corners(sharp turns), my car tends to lean too much on the front passengers side…not sure whether I should replace the shocks or the coil springs…Thank you

Really could use some background on the vehicle. Car or truck? Alot of heavy pulling? Depending on the age of the vehicle and use, id lean towards the shocks. Unless you really abuse the vehicle, i cant imagine wearing out the springs.

Bad shocks wouldn’t make the car lean, and a bad coil spring would make your car lean all the time. Judging from what you’ve said, especially the part about leaning in turns, I would suspect that your stabilizer bar link is broken.
