How Much To Fix This

Below is the question about How Much To Fix This,

Hi my 1998 Ford Contour rear coil spring broke in the driveway. The tire is ok. How much will it cost to fix this in a shop. How much labour and how much for the spring thx. All shops are closed in town so couldnt find out
Even just the est. time for a shop to do the work would be good, and any info on the spring cost would be good, im in canada

    Parts prices and labor rates will vary from location to location. So asking here isn’t going to help a lot. But it’d be best to get them both replaced as things tend to wear fairly evenly and it may ride awkwardly with only one new spring in the rear.

    Only about two hours work, spring itself you could buy a used auto yard,quick fix if you have to get around ,jack it up on the body and wedge a block of wood to hold it up.don’t go far throw

    Best guess from my past experience is $100.00 (US) for parts and another c-note for labor. Add the tow charge onto everything else. +/- 15%.
