Coil Spring Suspension

1997 cadillac deville de’ elegance converted to regular but coil springs sit too low in the rear but everywhere I go they can’t help me I need to raise it so I can put some big rims on there the coil springs sit separate from the struts in the back but the struts in the front sit in the coil spring do i need measurements or what to go to a store I want to raise the rear like 4 inches at least and the front 2

    I would get some shocks with helper coils over them.
    This should raise it enough, but if not spring spacers are not too expensive.

    well if its a front wheel drive car, there are no other coil springs that you can install to lift the car…lots of people use coil spreaders, but its not safe….it will cause a problem with the coils support on the strut……it WILL bend….that will cause the spring to rub in the inside of the tire and ruin it…in the rear you can install air struts with a air line….but actually there is so real safe way at do what you want to do…

    the back springs are broke down, get some heavier springs, that should raise the back.
