No, all those parts scream one thing to me “ricer!” meaning it has been driven hard and fast and now it doesn’t drive as well as it once did TIME TO SELL!.

Don’t buy it, save your money for something better.

No way ! Why would anyone want a Mitsubishit? They are not known to have long lasting engines. This one sounds like it was throttled to death by a poor little rich kid.Because they are fast doesn’t mean they will last.

First off have a mechanic look over the car someone you know, to make sure its in shape and not beat to hell like everyone is saying. Take it for a test drive if you can not just a short distance to make sure parts can warm up and you can listen for noises you might want to and might not want to hear. Also look into what work he has done such as timing belt, water pump, other necessary things around that mileage, Look into signs that he might have beaten on the car little things like bald front tires good backs too many burnouts or bald patches in tires from trying to “drift”. Now about the price my friend just sold his 1997 eclipse with about 80,000 miles for $3500, so this persons selling it cheap especially for how much work they have into it talk to them maybe there are reasons why they are selling it so cheap. who knows times might just be tight for the person but you could just be getting the shitty end of the stick if you do buy it.

never buy a tuner that is pre-moded. buy the eclipse stock and mod it urself. those parts may be worn out like crazy.

“Hey You” is a douchebag! All he does is answer questions hating on Mitsubishi’s. Fag….anyways the price is just a tad high for being a 95.You basically have to look at 2 things: Does it run smooth and were the mods put on by a professional or atleast done correctly? If you honestly believe it runs good and is worth it, go get it man.

You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.yoll.net

Hey You easily shows his lack of knowledge about anything…As proof of this lack, I give you the Mitsubishi 4G6. Which has been around since 87. Oh you might know the 4g6 in it’s guise as the the 4G63T that was in the late 80s Galant, 1G and 2G Eclipse, 1G Talon/Laser, and one kind of not real famous car…something Called the Lancer Evolution…oh I dunno since the Evo I in 1992…and you know, it’s only the engine Mitsubishi’s used in it’s Rally versions of the Evolution…

But apparently Hey You knows has some inside information that Mitsubishi was using some other engine when it’s Evo was winning Rally championships between 96 and 99 when it ran 4 in a row…

Back to the question asked. I have to agree with some of the others here…that car has had a lot of work done…that isn’t necessarily a bad thing if done right…what you need to do is get receipts and find out if the work was done professionally and if so is there some sort of warranty for the work. Also, I would seriously consider taking it to a reliable shop and having a diagnostic done to determine if there are any issues with the engine.
