Just put Expedition springs in it, it’s really the same truck anyway.

unfortunately, the problem with air suspension is it constantly breaks. Although it makes a very nice ride, it can become very costly. Your cheep-est solution to your problem would be replacing it with an expedition suspension. Its the same fit and would bolt on with all the original bolts from the expedition. But the ride would be stiff compared to what it was, you would feel more of the bumps. Your best bet to keep a great ride if not better would be a after- market conversion kit. http://www.strutmasters.com/

Hope this helps and good luck. Also something to consider, a shop charges alot for there labor, if you think you can do it yourself your better off and its simple once the air suspension is out of the picture.

Found this great report where you may even be able to fix your air suspension yourself (for free). Go to http://www.airsuspensionsolutions.com (there is a special discount code at the end of the report!)

The conversion is not a big deal and as they other answerer pointed out, you don’t have to buy an expensive “kit” from anyone to make the changes. You can use Expedition suspension componenets and any decent under car shop can make the subtle mods necessary to get the job done. The air ride system should give you reliable service if repaired properly, but the frustration of costly repairs and the madness of a bottomed out ride are enough to make anyone pull their hair out, along with their air suspension.
