I Have A Ford Ranger Flare Side Truck And I Want To Mount A Frame Mounted Hitch But…..

Below is the question about I Have A Ford Ranger Flare Side Truck And I Want To Mount A Frame Mounted Hitch But…..,

Every hitch i have found says it will not fit a ranger “splash” which is the old name for a ranger flareside. it is the ranger with the steps on the sides. is my truck the same as a “splash” as far as the frame is concerned? if so where could i get a frame mounted tow hitch, i don’t like towing off the bumper,i dont see why they wouldnt make a hitch for my truck there sre tens of thousands of them on the road.
its a 2002 ford ranger stepside (flareside ,splash…whatever) v6 automatic.

    Check the Uhaul website or your local Uhaul dealer and see if they have a hitch available………..md
